Meet the Team: Jerrick
Our resident basketball fan, Jerrick’s consistency and hard work means he’s at home in the warehouse as he is shooting baskets!
Whether its unloading incoming container shipments, or packaging the next outbound order, Jerrick approaches everything with his quiet but determined attitude to get the job done.
Hey Jerrick! Tell us a bit more about your job – what are your main responsibilities?
I am working as a warehouse associate, helping package parcels and LTL shipments as well as scheduling pick ups.
What was your professional background prior to this?
Before Frontline I was a warehouse associate at a fulfillment warehouse, and a stocking associate at Walmart.
What’s your favourite thing about the print & display sector?
Its typically a fast-paced work environment.
What’s the most challenging thing facing you and your clients in the current business climate?
I don’t have any direct contact with clients, and my only challenge would be getting orders out in a timely manner (which isn’t much of a challenge).
What would you say are the key attributes required to perform well in your role?
Attention to detail and a good work ethic go a long way.
If you didn’t work at Frontline, what would your dream job be?
A game designer.
Do you have any hobbies or interests away from work? Or a favourite way to unwind?
A few actually. Video games, graphic design, and to unwind I enjoy playing basketball and football.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that colleagues might not know?
I played basketball in the Syracuse Carrier Dome and met the Syracuse head coach, Jim Boeheim.
