Meet the Team: Shannon
Shannon has been with Frontline a little while now – over 5 years now – but her energetic support for our clients is the same as it ever was.
Initially starting in a customer service position, Shannon quickly transferred into account management and now is responsible for most key accounts in the United States. Her resourcefulness and endeavour to be the very best partner for her accounts, brings added value to them and appreciable results.
Hey Shannon! Tell us a little bit about your role and responsibilities at Frontline?
Howdy! I am a Key Account Manager with Frontline. My main responsibilities are to grow and maintain both sales & relationships with key accounts in the USA marketplace.
What was your professional background prior to this?
Prior to working for Frontline, and prior to furthering my education, I worked for many years in the Service industry as a waitress & bartender.
What’s your favourite thing about your job/the print & display sector?
My favourite thing about my position in the print & display industry is the opportunity to travel into new markets, meet and build relationships with high level and general managers, sales managers, inside sales and purchasers and outside sales representatives. Beyond that, I spend a considerable amount of time visiting customers of my accounts. This has proven to be an invaluable learning experience to meet and absorb information from customers further down the supply chain.
What would you say are the key attributes required to perform well in your role?
The key attributes required to perform well in my role would be adaptability, confidence, communication, drive, enthusiasm, and a thirst for knowledge.
If you didn’t work at Frontline, what would your dream job be?
My position here at Frontline is my dream job, there isn’t anything else I could imagine doing.
Do you have any hobbies or interests away from work? Or a favourite way to unwind?
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my teenage daughter and my family.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that colleagues might not know?
An interesting fact about myself that my colleagues may not know is that I worked as on office manager in an automotive shop for a couple years where we serviced vehicles and sold motorcycles and dirt bikes.
